“Humans – as well as aliens like me – are difficult to work with, therefore it requires a highly interpersonal intelligent person to relate with human emotions, moods, feelings, temperaments, motivations and desires.
We need folks who have interpersonal intelligence in Human Resources (HR).
Howard Gardner said, “In theory, individuals who have high interpersonal intelligence are characterized by their sensitivity to others’ moods, feelings, temperaments and motivations and their ability to cooperate in order to work as part of a group.”
The moods, feelings and temperaments of others are within their sensitivity meter, hence they can reach out to anyone and make better, motivate, egg on, challenge, stimulate, etc.
