Bank of Deposits I“In 2014, I started working on my reading culture because it was getting washed out.

I had a target to read fifty two books in 2014 i.e. one book per week. Something funny happened. I read a book per nine weeks (approximately) aka I read only six books in 2014.

Did I feel bad? Oh yes but then, I picked myself up in 2015 and started my reading culture for 2015 with a target of fifty two books for the year (again). Well, I didn’t meet that target but I read fourteen books in 2015.

In 2016, let’s go fifty two. Yes, again…LOL.

The books I bought in 2015 cost me somewhere between N80,000 and N120,000 in all and they’re worthy investments.

I’ll post my reading miles on my blog as I progress: to inspire you and me; you can join my Reading Club on my blog (I’ll announce a dedicated website for the Reading Club in quarter 2 of 2016 and invite those men who read newspapers with me in my mum’s shop when I was much younger; they need to see how far I’ve gone clubbing).

This has been an investment in my diction, spelling, writing, etc.”
