If our president doesn’t know why he came to rule us now, what does it make of us as a nation?

Quite simple: In limbo.

We’ve got no map. No plan. No compass. No direction.

Lost. Adrift. At sea. Without bearings.

The government can’t control what’s happening within, hence there’s no movement. How then does it intend to grow the economy?

We’re sailing on high sea without a compass. One unending journey that may kill us all.

No captain ever mans a ship and sails on stormy waters, in-between the devil (sea pirates) and the deep blue sea without knowing how to navigate.

Who goes to a gun battle with knife (kitchen knife, actually)?

For a sitting president to say, “I didn’t know why I came to rule now,” I’m mentally pacing and weighing the benefits of being a Nigerian. Of being a citizen in the dwarfed giant of Africa.

If a CEO of a company takes over and he can’t fix or grow the company, why is he CEO? Why?

Poverty, illiteracy, insecurity, unemployment – social issues that need to be tackled – by the government are now being turned to God or Allah in prayers.

But God or Allah isn’t interested in a country that can’t employ the best brains to fix her economy. I’ve not seen any god that rewards lack of initiative – none, whatsoever.
