“Some people are anti-technology. They feel tech is the new evil but geeky me knows tech is the real cool.

Admittedly, tech has helped spread evil to an extent but why not focus on the good and leave evil alone. If you’re an accountant and you’ve accepted in your heart that the computer and the Internet is evil/bad, and in so doing, you decide to neglect Peachtree Accounting, Google Sheets (for real-time accounting collaboration in your company), FreshBooks or Sage 50 and the likes, you decide to still balance accounts with a notepad and a pen. Hello! You’re fired. Get an upgrade or remain in the labour market.

Find technology that can help improve your passion, technology that you can harness to help/serve more people, technology that can help you grow your passion in life. After all, isn’t the focus on progression? It is, so act like it.

If you love producing beats, there’s Fruity Loop, n-Track Studio, Apple Logic Pro, etc.

If you love accounts, there’s Peachtree Accounting software, Microsoft Excel, Quicken by Intuit, etc.

If you love sewing, there’s FabriCalc Design & Fabric Calculator, Collins Vanishing Fabric Marker (hey, stop buying chalk), portable iron, etc.

If you love graphic design, there’s Wacom graphics tablet, Fireworks, Photoshop, etc.

If you love cooking, there’s electric oven, electronic kitchen scale, whisk, juicer, tomato masher, timer, pepper and salt shaker, etc.

If you love writing, there’s laptop, a blog to own like,, Dragon Naturally Speaking, etc.

These are some modern tools/technology for those in love with beats production, sewing, graphic design, cooking and writing. There are lots of examples and even if I continue, I won’t be able to exhaust all. You can find them on the Internet but if you can’t, send me a mail and I’ll help out.”
