My first book for the year 2016 is How They Started by David Lester.
I was partial in picking this book as the first because I had about 15 unread books before this came in. Nonetheless, I chose it first because Munachim gifted it to me on Christmas Eve.
Surprisingly, I have a similar book. I told Muna immediately I unwrapped it, “Oh! I have this book oo.”
“Really? I had to search thoroughly because you read diverse. This boy, which book haven’t you read?”
“Hol’ up. Seems like the chapters are different,” I don’t know if I said this to beat down his disappointment but really the chapters are different.

I started yesterday: 01/01/2016; I hope to drop it on the 7th and pick the next book for the year. So far, I’ve read Gu Chocolate Puds and it’s an interesting story – a family of entrepreneurs which proves my say and the say of others that talent could be genetic.
This book means a lot to me because I love reading stories of entrepreneurs who set out to make a difference or something – money, perhaps.
To meet up with 52 books this year, I’ve got to invest N200,000 – N250,000 to buy 36 more books since I’ve got 16 already.
This year got interesting and just got started. Thanks, Muna.
