My 2nd book for the year is ‘How They Started Global Brands (How 21 Good Ideas Became Great Global Businesses)’ by David Lester. This is the second version though and from what I can see here, it’s mostly USA-centric.
Other countries therein are New Zealand, UK, Sweden, Canada, Japan, Finland. Out of 21 countries, 7 are USA. So, let’s say one third goes to the USA with countries like Coca-Cola, KFC, Pizza Hut, Hilton Hotels, Apple, eBay and Google.
But there’s also Volvo Cars from Sweden, Adidas from Germany, Nokia from Finland and Nintendo from Japan.
