If in the short-run there’s no feasible solution to bringing (continual) Nigeria out of this mayhem being caused by exchange rate volatility encouraged by the crash in crude oil price, and the best possible means is to consume locally and export, doesn’t it mean we’re focused on the exportation of PRODUCTS only?

Have we considered the third alternative – for the short-run redemption and long-run too: exportation of SERVICES where we exchange our time, skills and expertise for dollar or pounds or euro?
Most services don’t need plants and machinery to be set up, they need a functional mind and creation of time. And time isn’t directly affected by crash in crude oil prices and exchange rate volatility.
