This evening, I thought about the broom:

a typical example of synergy and communal strength.

It showcases the power of family – a family of broom sticks can give you a squeaky clean house.

Just like the traditional broom known as Okaakpa (correct?) by the Igbos which harnesses the collective strength of its dried leaves hanging on to a branch which in turn hangs on to a much stronger long branch, the broom constantly reminds us what partnership, what companionship, what synergy and what collaboration can do.

In the kitchen, workplace, relationship, church, nation building, bedroom, etc.

Never forget the mutualism, the symbiosis, the enhanced growth capability.
