“After realizing a talent is in you, after realizing that you have passion for destroying TV sets, radios, laptops, etc. fixing electronic stuff or any other stuff, you don’t just sit down, watch it and say “Well! It’s a gift bestowed on me by God. God will fix it.”
Sadly, that’s funny.
Despite His/her busyness, the Creator will find time to laugh at your joke and S(he) won’t come down to do the fixing for you; quit dreaming and wake up.
If you don’t, your talent will just sit down, watch you and probably say to you, “Dream on! I’m just going to sit down here and watch you lazy about until you are ready. Else, I rot away.”
Talking about fixing electronic stuff and destroying stuff, I remember preparing for going tech when I took down our desktop computer at age 12/13 and proceeded to repair it with thirteen screwdrivers and spanners.
What was the problem? It was in safe mode and didn’t want to boot normal.
So I unscrewed the CPU and cleaned some cobwebs I found. Did it work after that? No, my dad almost killed me when he found out but I ran off to school.
That’s just one good advantage of boarding school – you do something evil and you run off. When you’re back in two or three months, Jesus must’ve paid the price for your sins you’ve been forgiven.”
